HOPE & CHARITY LEAD THE WAY :

Our ancient and venerable lodge has pioneered a novel Provincial campaign to enhance interest in, and hopefully encourage more Craft Masons to join, the Holy Royal Arch.

As the main feature of our regular November meeting, members and a goodly number of visitors, were entertained to the first presentation of “Talking Heads,” by a newly-formed team from various Chapters in the Province.

Based on a format created by the Supreme Grand Chapter, Barry Griffin and Paul Sturdy engaged in an informal question and answer chat show that traced the history of the Order and how important – and very enjoyable! – it is today.

Acting as “link man” was Geoff Weston, Past Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent, who has organised the project assisted by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Tim Jones. He said: “The aim is to stimulate interest in Royal Arch and to encourage Master Masons to join.”

A series of presentations to other lodges in the Province are planned.
